Hello.
Does anyone know how to make a fruit/vegetable leather resembling HealthCoCanada's ReBAR?
Thank you,
Kristin |

Hi Kristin,
This may not be helpful (as I have never tried rebar),
but you can make easy fruit leathers by pureeing fruit, then dehydrating until the leather is the consistency that you want.
If rebar is just a fruit leather, you should definately be able to make a good version of it!

Hi, Dani.
ReBARs are a combination of dehydrated fruits and vegetables. I think that I will do a little bit of experimenting with the ratio of ingredients, but I would welcome any tried and tested recipes that combine to make a tasty, wholesome snack.
Thanks for the recommendation. |

| I have never had a reBar either but do make my own "fruit cookies" in my dehydrator with juice pulp from carrots and apples. Then I add "whatever" like pureed banana, flax meal, soaked raisins or dates + maybe some sesame seeds.....Dehydrate in patties/cookies....Does that sound similar? They are pretty good and I like to dry them completely so they are crunchy and I eat them like "toast" with some coconut oil and cinnamon in the morning! Yummy! |
