Hi,
At the last potluck someone made an absolutely divine salad. The main ingredients were mango and anise, but there were also some pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and sesame seeds. I've tried to replicate the recipe at home a few times (fairly good) but not as exceptional as the version served at the potluck.
If anyone has the recipe could you please post it here?
Thank you in advance and best wishes.

Danielle,
Could you give me the recipe you used? Even though you say it wasn't quite as good as the original, it still sounds incredible.
Thanks! |

Here is the recipe I came up with:
4-5 atualfo mangoes (I like to use 5, because I just can't get enough of mangoes): peeled and chopped
1/3 cup sesame seeds (white, raw)
1/3 cup dried cranberries (unsweetened, if you can find them)
1/3 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1 whole anise (fennel): chopped finely
Mix and serve. Try to keep yourself from eating the whole thing in one sitting! **The recipe makes about 3-4 good sized servings. _________________ "Live simply, so others may simply live" |
