Hi Everyone,
I was watching an old rerun from June for a local tv show with TL rader and Natasha was on the show showing a vegan pie recipe and this site was mentioned; I have seen the cheesecakes she makes at Rainbow foods but the ingredients are never listed so I shyed away from trying them since they are gluten , dairy ,sugar and egg free but after seeing the episode and the ingredients she used for the pie , I am curious to know the recipe for this cheesecake or atleast the ingredients.
Can someone please share this with me ? I checked the recipes on this site and it wasnt there , I would also be interested in purchasing a recipe book if it exists b/c I cannot attend classes ( no time , I am a student).
On a side note,I have gone organic over the last 6 months and try to avoid soy , pasteurized anything including milk and wheat so this is all new to me especially since I turned to coconut milk to replace milk ingredients since I cant get them raw when making pudding or wanting to have icecream. There is raw milk cheese which I do buy and use as a garnish and wanted to ask anyone knowledgable here if blue cheese from Europe (Denmark) would be pasteurized or organic butter ( both say Milk on the ingredients wihout listing pasteurised milk so I dont know if it is pasteurized ?
Thanks. |

Hi Curious,
Funny, I just bought one of Natasha's cheesecakes at Herb & Spice the other day. Talk about delicious, and hard to believe that they're dairy free!
The ingredients are listed on the SimplyRaw containers. I believe that the base is walnuts (or pecans), dates, cashews, vanilla, agave, coconut oil, etc. |
