Hi
Years ago I used to frequent the Pantry at the Glebe and enjoy the bran muffins and the vegetable pate. I have thought about these two foods for years and wished I had the recipe. My quest led me to this website - it seems Natasha's Mom started the Pantry and was no doubt the wonderful maker of those muffins and Pate. It seems to me from my memory that the muffins had a special molasses in them- and the Pate - I just do not know what wonderful things were blended together.... I am not sure if anyone can help me but I defintely think it is worth a try. |

Donnam,
I heard thru the grape vine that Natasha and her Austrian mother Ilse are collaborating on a recipe book. Apparently there will be some cooked "transition foods" so perhaps your muffin and pate recipes will be included.
Ilse also helps Natasha with the food prep workshops so you might have luck asking her for the recipe during one of them.
Good luck! |
