SimplyRaw is gathering a group of fasters through this online community board to begin a short fast of your choice on Saturday, May 27th. It is important to choose a fasting method appropriate to your lifestyle. Recommended cleanses are a juice fast, the master cleanse, energy soup cleanse, colon cleanse, 100% raw diet (no nuts, beans, grains, fats or oils) or a fruit cleanse.
Fasting is the world's oldest natural healing therapy. It is a sure way to help your body eliminate toxic waste and dead cells. It provides a much needed rest for the digestive system, promotes new cell and tissue generation, helps you heal faster, have more energy & and feel better. Even those who live a healthy lifestyle have toxins (due to nutritional habits, environmental pollutants, etc) and can benefit from a fast.
If interested in joining us, please sign up by posting a reply here. While we won't be leading the fast, we will be popping in now & again to help answer questions. We highly encourage fasters to find fasting buddies for motivation and support through the bulletin board.

Hi Natasha!
I think I will join you.
I was considering doing a 7 day fast in April/May, so this fits.
I will do a green drink fast.
I guess I will have to bring some green juice to the potluck! :)

| Hi Natasha - here goes...... I'm going to try for an "all green quasi fast:" green smoothies, wheatgrass juice, energy soup + rejuvelac. Not a typical fast, I don't feel ready to take that step quite yet..... |

Welcome Laurie --- an energy soup cleanse is an excellent method of detoxifying. It is also highly nourishing.
I'll be following along with you as it's just what I need to help heal an extracted problem tooth. |

| Thank-you for confirming the validity of my choice, as I too am healing from an extremely stressful experience. I look forward to joining you and the others on the fast. |
